Psalm 100 (New International Version)
A psalm. For giving thanks.
  1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

 2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

 3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Matthew 26:26-30 (New International Version)

26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."

 27Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom."

 30When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
